Update 2.1b: The Announcer is here, and he brought a whole heckin' lot of bug fixes with him

Remember when I said this update would be quick? Turns out that was a blatant lie. I've discovered that trying to maintain an entire game while high school is going on and you also have a YouTube to pay attention to is actually pretty difficult. Crazy, right?

Aaaanyways...

PATCH NOTES

  • Added the Announcer! You can enable it from the game settings. Voiced by none other than DyllonStej Gaming.
  • Fixed compatibility issue with 1.0b saves
  • Chosen colors and decals now save between rounds (decals already did this but it was not reflected properly on the setup screen; this has been fixed)
  • Revised control map so that pressing A or B on a gamepad no longer registers as pressing "up", which would change your decal on the setup screen
  • In addition to waiting until horizontal velocity is 0, players also no longer despawn until they hit the ground or an additional second passes
  • The Frenzy airhorn sound effect can no longer activate multiple times in rapid succession (it was funny but definitely not intentional)
  • Reorganized the Settings menu again
    • Can now toggle the update checker in the settings (it is now off by default)
    • Added 480p as a selectable resolution option
  • Updated the music in Extras and tutorial menus and also fixed a bug with them that prevented mouse navigation from being used
  • Pause and Settings menus now use adaptive scaling so they don't jank out when you switch between them
  • Added a new decal. There originally weren't going to be any in this update but I had a sudden idea and decided to throw it in. There will be more shop content once a major update happens I promise
  • Playing alone now correctly allows you to use the control method you selected instead of being restricted to using arrows, WASD, or the controller in slot 1

This is a still minor update because it doesn't introduce much actual content outside of the Announcer, but it adds some much-needed polish to the game. If all goes well, though, this means the next one can be focused more on adding new stuff, because oh boy, there is a LOT planned.

See you next time!
